At BC Research Inc., we specialise in contract research focused on early-stage development and scale-up of new chemical processes, as well as the optimisation of established chemistries.
Our diverse team of scientists and engineers offers a broad range of research and development services, including proof-of-concept laboratory and pilot testing, chemical reaction and process optimisation, and feedstock analysis and selection.
One of our core strengths lies in the development of specialty analytical methods for the characterization of complex sample matrices. Building on this expertise, we also develop quality assurance and control protocols for effective process and product monitoring.
Some examples of complex samples our team has successfully characterized include multicomponent organic samples, highly concentrated brines, chemically unstable compounds, industrial waste streams and effluents, high-strength corrosives and other hazardous materials, and concentrated samples containing trace-level constituents.
Our robust safety program enables us to design and operate systems using real chemistries and authentic feedstocks under industrial processing conditions. This approach allows us to develop, validate, and de-risk chemical process technologies with confidence. Supported by a fully equipped wet laboratory and a comprehensive analytical laboratory, we can generate immediate, high-quality data to evaluate key process parameters and accelerate decision-making throughout development.
